Is there ANYONE that doesn't love flowers?!  I used the quick selection tool to cut out the outline of the flowers. Then I added a layer behind it of a field of several flowers. I think that added visual interest because The cut out was just a couple of flowers but the background was A LOT of them.  Then I added text that described what I felt about flowers and made the words pretty colors! Tata 4 now!!

Visual Puns

Puns anyone? We had to take a written pun and take it to real life! I think that it really helped me understand them better. For boxing match, I got a cool looking background and put the layer of a match I cut out over it and added boxing gloves. The text really reminds me of something sporty too!
I liked the idea for the drill to be shooting out fire! I think it added a little interesting element to it and The text sort of looks like tongues of fire!

comic/CARTOON

Hey bloggers, it's me again! On this project I had a MARVELOUS time with my friends! They are Janice Ian and Karen Smith. We are the bestest buddies! We go together like rama lama lama  ke ding a de dinga a dong remembered for ever like shoo bop shoo wadda wadda yipitty boom de boom! We had some trouble trying to figure out how to take pictures of all three of us at one time but we decided we could put the self timer on the camera and steady it on an object to take a picture. Once we got our pictures, we resized to make them the same size and we outlined them to make them more cartoon-y!

Filtered Self-Portrait

I really enjoyed doing this project! It really helped you use all of the tools that are offered. I used A LOT of filters to create the look that I wanted. They were all the same picture, but they looked so different! I liked the idea of the pictures not all facing the same way. I think it is really visually pleasing for the pictures to all turn clock-wise so your eyes can follow them pretty easily.

Crazy Combos

Crazy Combos was one of the first projects that my partner and I did on Photoshop. We were aiming to get one wacky animal that was made with a BUNCH of different parts of other animals. It turned out looking really fabulous! We had to cut a lot of things and rescale them to make all of the body parts fit together in to one (semi) normal looking thing! We added the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign to add a little humor to the picture because our animal looks like something that happened in Vegas and should STAY in Vegas!
:)

15 Green Things

This project really tested our knowledge on the tools for CS3 Photoshop. We had to use a variety of skills to complete the look we wanted. Rotating, cutting, scaling, History Brush, and substituting colors in are just a few of the things that I used. For the background, I wanted to go with a collage effect by piecing together different pictures to fit like a puzzle. The hands in the middle of the picture were created by lowering the Opacity to make them see-through. I think it really made the image unique.
