Product advertisement
For my project, I chose the MacBook Air. It's a really nice product and it was worth advertising. I used phrases like light as air to play on the name. It's also really slender giving off the effect that it's like air. I also think that the picture I used for the advertisement showed how skinny it is. I used a color on the laptop to make it stand out more and be more colorful.
Arcimboldo Face
On this project, we had to make a face, or in my case, person, using 15 different layers. I obviously used fruits in the project. I thought it would be really cute to have grapes as hair. I thought it was really challenging to find something for a nose but I settled with a strawberry. I used a watermelon twice but in different ways. I thought it would be a really good thing for a smile because of the shape and I really liked the idea of using it as a body because of the rotund shape.
Colored Stencils
I really liked this project. For the first one, I took pictures of certain parts of backpacks and I cropped them in photoshop. I used a Tree stencil to get the backpacks into that shape. I made the colors of them all the different colors of the rainbow and I used a gradient for the background.
For my second project, I got pictures off the internet of Harry Potter characters. I put the characters next to the people they worked with a lot in the books or who they were emotionally connected to. I put these characters in to star stencils and I also gave them all different colors of the rainbow.
Self-Promo Web Ad/Card
This project was supposed to be sort of like a place that we could show off our hard work that we did throughout the whole course. It also gives us a chance to let people know what we do. I used my stencil artwork because I liked hot the gradient was like gray and the actual stencils were really colorful. I also used my flower project because I liked how it looked creative.

I had oodles of fun with THIS assignment. To be honest. I just drew a BUNCH of lines (black ones) and I filled the gaps in with different colors. I blurred some of the lines to give it less of a modern computer like thing and give it more of a human-made appearance, I left some of the gaps white because I didn't want the colors to take away from the overall effect of the artwork.
Avatars
This project was sort of hard because I had to fill in stuff and outline my avatar, which is me incase you couldn't tell... I also filled in my face. I put a wig on myself to make it look more like a cartoon. I also distorted myself to make me lean. I put my avatar in a background which is Hogwarts because I love Harry Potter.
For my second avatar, I used two cartoon like characters. The head is Medusa and the body is Buttercup from the POwer Puff Girls. I decided to make it's power laser shooting. It is in it's natural habitat of the rain forrest where it cuts branches out of the way for people who are traveling. It is a good avatar.

Is there ANYONE that doesn't love flowers?! I used the quick selection tool to cut out the outline of the flowers. Then I added a layer behind it of a field of several flowers. I think that added visual interest because The cut out was just a couple of flowers but the background was A LOT of them. Then I added text that described what I felt about flowers and made the words pretty colors! Tata 4 now!!
